Recently, we relocated an Agilent 6850 GC within our facility and now cannot power it on. Before reinstalling the GC, we dusted the instrument with compressed air; could we have knocked something loose inside the GC? Has something shorted out or has a fuse blown? What is the most likely cause of this problem and how can we determine the cause and fix it?
You have more than likely blown the internal fuse. Not the first time I’ve heard of this. You should keep backup fuses, it won’t be the last time.
